Este argumento de Pedro Demo, no qual a universidade deve se voltar para a pesquisa é similar ao discurso de Paulo Freire sobre a educação, na qual o aluno deve ser o “protagonista de seu saber”. Não nego que o principal agente do conhecimento seja o próprio aluno, se ele realmente estudar. De resto, insistir neste clichê (como se pudesse ser diferente...) tem servido basicamente para diminuir o papel do professor. Se este profissional é assim tão irrelevante por que se deve mantê-lo em atividade? Por que não desenvolver o estudo autodidata somente? Este negócio de dizer o óbvio e “esquecer” do papel de profissionais que historicamente contribuíram para o ensino parece, na verdade, discurso de quem tenta fortalecer uma teoria normativa que não explica a realidade, mas tenta torcer a mesma até que se torne um espelho de suas mentiras.

Neste sentido ser “protagonista da educação” é tão inócuo quanto dizer que a universidade “deve ser outra”. Enquanto isto, ela está aquém do desejado pela ação militante de alguns profissionais que relegam a própria pesquisa e avaliação sérias de seus alunos ao segundo ou terceiro planos.

Em tempo, como têm sido ensinadas e utilizadas as ferramentas estatísticas e análises sociométricas em cursos de humanas? Afinal, já que é para enfatizar a pesquisa, estas são recursos imprescindíveis. E, diga-se de passagem, difíceis de serem dominadas sem um bom ensino. Mas, onde conseguirão um bom ensino e, por extensão, domínio sobre o instrumental analítico, se a pesquisa sem preparo... Digo, sem ensino é a nova bandeira de parte dos professores?

In this sense be "the protagonist's education" is as innocuous as saying that the university "should be another." Meanwhile, it is lagging behind the militant actionof some professionals who relegate the very serious research and evaluation of their students to the second or third levels.
In time, as they have been taught and used statistical tools and analysis sociometric courses in humanities? After all, since the research is to emphasize, these are invaluable resources. And tell by the way, difficult to be mastered without a good education. But where will achieve a good education and, by extension, on the field, analytical tools, research is unprepared ... I mean, without teaching the new flag is part of the teachers?
