Climate Change-Driven Prostitution Claim In House Resolution Makes For Misleading Headlines


"Vulnerable communities in developing countries are already beginning to confront water scarcity, severe weather events and reduced agricultural productivity due to climate change, and women with limited access to basic needs are in an especially vulnerable position."

The text ignores the fact that in these countries there is a shortage of the poorest of the population. The document content is alarmist and not properly relate cause and effect preferring weak hypotheses. If poverty increase because of climate change, the supposed global warming, we are led to conclude that poverty and wealth depend on global climate cycles of the planet, which is clearly a fallacy.
